the sweetest of parties

blessed blessed blessed. my heart was SO full this night as we celebrated my boy with our family and friends. as my friend Betsy says, "we are rich with all the things money can't buy" LOVE!

Canon is 5!!

Absolutely love this precious boy. What a wonderful 5 year old he will make! So thankful the Lord blessed us with him: his puppy dog eyes, love for the bible and sports, all boy aggression, ease for learning, intense connection to Daddy, silliness; praise the Lord for this child!

Canon's last game

We had such a sweet season this year and loved Canon's teammates. We had an end of year party simply because we really did want to celebrate each child's accomplishments and also to reach out to the parents. They all knew Phillip was a pastor (as he was the coach), and he did a great job affirming the parents and then sharing what he does and being open to meeting with any of them at any time. I'm always so proud of him. He makes everything fun and is always willing to share the GOOD news of Christ and how He can set us free. So thankful he was the coach:) And so thankful for Canon and his attitude this year, his soccer playing skills, and being a team player:)! He developed a love for playing and it truly was so fun to see him jumping as he played and improve his side kick. We are so proud of you buddy!!!

We had such a great time with my sister, her kids, and my mom this week. They drove up for a few days of fall fun here in STL. We missed the other little cousins and family, but will have plenty of fun and pictures after our next adventure in November:) Sweetest part of the day was when Atley (who had been fearful of her tooth falling out and bleeding and hurting), let me pull her barely hanging on tooth, while sitting on a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch. Her first lost tooth! And I could capture it on camera, so fun:) Love you mom and Ang:)
