time marches on
Doesn't every mother feel this way, the cherishing of each birthday or milestone. The knowledge that this season won't last forever, that these sweet tiny bodies are growing with each sleep at night, that someday soon we will look back and wonder where all the time has gone!
These six years with our precious girls have flown by. I really grasp that time is not just marching, but sprinting on.
In my efforts to cherish these moments and time with my kids I suppose I can be a bit sentimental on their birthdays. Always remembering, looking back, pondering it all in my heart. Though its not been perfect, though their entrance into this world was a bit of a surprise, though I still mourn those first weeks of being in medicated fog and them in the NICU, though it wasn't too long after they were born and I was on the couch for a whole summer and then there were 3. Their baby days passed quickly and busily. Yes I cherished it all, took as many pictures as I could, and then came Kindergarten and I just wasn't really ready to only cherish them 1/2 the day. No, I still wanted the whole day all the time with them. I know I will look back and see I got as much as I could, cherished ALL that my mama heart could take in. And at 6 years old this Christmas, I'm feeling as if my heart is about as BIG as it could ever be with all the cherishing, pondering, memories, and many days we've spent together. No, it sure hasn't been perfect or ever easy, but there is NOTHING I would change about the Christmas miracles we received 6 years ago and all the intentional moments we've tried to hold onto since then.
Happy Birthday my growing daughters, you are not babies anymore. My little women in training, little loves of my life. How I love your open heart for Jesus, your adoration for Daddy, and desire to be mommies to all your babies. The Lord has a plan for your lives and as each year passes I pray you would be obedient to His call.
I love you more than you'll ever know.
We celebrated their birthdays yesterday,

a little late, but Thanksgiving was great!!
we LOVE our family.
SO blessed on both sides.
what a gift that both sets of parents love the Lord and years ago made decisions to raise up children to Love the Lord as well. What an example they set in their own lives and homes.
what an incredible gift to have a sister and sister in loves as best friends.
what a gift that all their children are so adorable and learning at a young age to love Jesus!
our families are gifts indeed!!
We loved loving on our hopeful neice and nephew and just cherishing the time we had with them and Britton:)
we were incredibly Thankful at Thanksgiving to be with "some" of the Hunters as we were missing Matt and Lauren and the newest Hunter, baby Raylee:) And we are thrilled to be with my family at Christmas...just weeks before we meet the newest babe Brady:)
Blessed Blessed Blessed, pressed down and OVERFLOWING!

My Baby the Bear
Canon's preschool class got to be part of the school's amazing Christmas performance, The Joy Story. He was a "bear" during the Noah's Ark part.
Love my little man and love how he smiles from ear to ear feeling so special as we all watch him sing and do his hand motions.

our little family Christmas
Because we have such amazing family and they are coming here and we are going there for Christmas, this left but a few nights for us to choose from and we chose tonight:)
We were so proud of our children's attitudes as this was the first year we have gotten them all similar yet different gifts, and they were geniuinley happy for one another. Maybe someday I will blog the story of how we got the girls' strollers and how the Lord totally blessed us there.
What a sweet time this was tonight and even sweeter as we gathered together and read Canon's new bible afterward...remembering the REAL meaning of Christmas and how Christ came down to set us FREE!:)

4 Ever for now
Welcome to my 3rd blog. Yes, I really have had 3 blogs!!
My first blog started when my twins were little. It ended when their names as the title of the blog was no longer appropriate as we were expecting our 4th child! So a new blog began and I have stayed there for a few years now! As time has gone, so has ALL my picture space. I now have no space available to post new pictures, hence I am beginning my third blog...under my husbands email account, allowing me more space and no cost for now:)!
4 Ever for now. We created this name simply because it is our hearts desire to adopt a child at some point in our future. We have explored many options and are quite excited about the possibility. However we also know this is not the time for us, and we are waiting for the Lord to open the doors and push us forward when the time comes.
For now we will have lots of pictures and a few funny stories from our 4 wonderful children who are still for the very shortest time ages 5, 5, 4, 2.
